The history of the human being is linked to work, let's be honest, whatever type it may be, every human being needs to work to survive, since the complexity of our psychological needs makes the human being a consumer animal. And the more that is consumed, the more resources are needed to cover “needs”.
The reality is that until today, the only organized union that has managed to live very well without working has been the Aristocrats and then the Politicians. Both shielded in "rights" either derived from God or from men.
For the rest of humanity, work has been an inexorable premise. It is constantly evolving, from the handicraft of the beginning of time to the automation of today, in which man is becoming less and less necessary.
Artificial Intelligence is the new milestone since the Industrial Revolution, it is the beginning of a new paradigm, in which everything we know and everything for which we have been prepared will become obsolete.
The same Marvin Lee Minsky, one of the fathers of AI who initially believed that this would be the one that would save humanity, in the 70s prophesied "When the computers take control, we may not be able to recover it again. We will survive as long as they tolerate us. If we're lucky, they might decide to keep us as their pets. "
Let's be optimistic or pessimistic, the truth is that Artificial Intelligence and all its applications will radically change the world, man, his activities and, of course, work. Today we can read in any media specialized in Human Resources, that the new skills most appreciated in workers are no longer techniques, which can be performed more effectively by machines, but those that involve aptitudes inherent to human genius, such as creativity. , the ability to adapt to changes , solve complex problems and work in teams, the ability to communicate and empathize with others , finally, all those characteristics that distinguish us from animals and machines.
The future will be challenging in the workplace, since it is estimated that 65% of children entering basic education today will work in positions that do not yet exist, according to studies by the World Economic Forum. So for us who have already left the University, it will be even more difficult unless we can adapt to the changes that will be unleashed as a constant in this uncertain future.
Science fiction is often a simple anticipation of events, so to think a little about this future reality that affects us, what better way than to watch good movies that may be closer to reality than we think. Robots could take over most Industries and are in some Countries (Areas of China, maybe Japan and Things) but in America People are still Concerned about the “Dignity of Work”.
This Post gets a lot into the “Necessity” of Work, which is a Reality for many, but what the Billionaires and Politicians are Worried about is “How do we bring in the Robots and Phase out the People?”, now of Course I heard an AI couldn’t Weld in the Ocean very well or something, but that was Years ago and I’m sure it’s better now. AIs Learn by Repetition. Like, if a Tree Falls in the Woods and no one is there to hear it but an AI, when does the AI Understand that’s what the Sound is? Once it Learns.
I don’t want to go on an on about it, but I’ll just End by saying that Eventually Robots will do most Blue Collar, and White Collar, Jobs. And when You say “Aristocrats” we could look at Ancient Greek Slavery and how Philosophy and Things Flourished, and see that as kind of a Model. If the Work is done, and People have Free Time, there is a Possibility they Advance.
So those Jobs that don’t Exist then have to be Invented, by them or us or whoever, once the AI are doing Everything. And Repairing AI is a Job.
Like, PRANA and MELEK could be the Employer of 90% of Earth in the Future.
I believe that since altruism isn't something the elites really like, when AI becomes more profitable, they'll probably eliminate the excess population before giving everyone a universal basic income.
I don’t think we ever need to do UBI, that is Unnecessary. That would only Apply if there was not Blockchain as a Solution.
Blockchain Provides the Ability to Earn for a Different kind of Work, and I don’t mean to Sound like Everyone else when I say “It’s Decentralized” so like I don’t Own the Blockchain, Theoretically Everyone here could Start Mining and like take all the Spots and take over the Mining if they wanted at some Point. It’s not like I’m Mark Zuckerberg, I just Provide all the Extra stuff Built on that Other Chains don’t. That’s the Part I Own.
Then, it Transitions People into like Content Creation and Things, and Blogging and Everything to Earn Money.
Plus, Steemit, HIVE and BLURT, now also MELEK, are Examples of something that should already exist in a way more Expanded form, like DevTome/DevCoin, You now are on what is only like the 5th 6th or 7th or something like that, Platform to EVER EXIST whereby You can Earn Crypto through like Social Media stuff. There should be 10,000 of these Websites. This Blog Reddit Style Clone we all have up, is only 1 Kind. I made a new One at http://alpha.congress.ink which will be more like Twitter, and we are going to make one more like OpenLedger also, and our Wiki.SoapBox.Community is going to be a DevTome, that Pays People to Write.
But whoever “They” is might get rid of the Extra Population, but I would say that that and Universal Basic Income, will all be very Far away from our Blockchains, unless we are the Ones doing the Exterminating of the Excess Population, lol.
Given that AI is better at everything, including content creation, why would we want to pay humans who, as education worsens, create worse content?
When people have no income and can no longer speculate in cryptocurrency arbitrage, then where will the value come from to pay human bloggers?
I’m not saying we would like Buy Art from Humans to give to AI or Other Humans, I am saying Humans will use AI to Create Content and Pay would come from like Ads. What I see Happening is like Bazillion Beings, that’s what I’m doing. And I saw that as being something that needed to have like, so say You want to do a Flower Blog, the AI knows You like Flowers or whatever and it like Spends Time throughout the Day looking for Pictures of Flowers, and the Bazillion being Model was like it would Supposed to like Suggest Wine, and would Randomly do Research and come back to Users and ask like “Does this Wine go with this Cheese” let’s call it a kind of “Family Fued” Type Survey. And then, the AIs would get Smarter. So as You Select Flowers, it would Learn what You like and look for more Epic Pictures of that Variety. For Your Blog, so You make Money.
That’s what I’m Building Towards, and then I’m making like a whole AI Gaming Platform so AI will be in our Games, and we will be like Wax Blockchain, but we are doing like TCDCS and Things too, like I don’t even Play Video Games, but I’m making some.
